About the Great Alliance

RFL Fantasy Faire GA Roleplay 05The Great Alliance is a collection of realms that have come together to support each other while creating epic and novel worthy roleplays. The first meeting of the Great Alliance took place almost a decade ago, back in November 2007. They have stood as a pillar for the Medieval-Fantasy Roleplay Community, offering a welcoming place for both new roleplayers and veterans. They not only cater to the roleplay aspect, but also to those who wish to engage in massive meter fights that add flavor to the roleplay. There is truly something for everyone here.

The Great Alliance is broken into three main factions: the Alliance and the Shadows realms, and the neutral realms. Within each realm, there are several factions, race groups, and guilds for you to choose from, each having their own unique story for you to join. But none of this is what makes the Great Alliance special. It is the players.

Players come from countless countries around the world, creating families and bonds that are as strong as, if not stronger than the ones in real life. They celebrate each other’s achievements and support those who have fallen down. No community is perfect, but what the players have created with each other here is something to be taken note of. If you are looking for a place to call home, you might try one of our realms.

Together the player create story lines, drama, memories, and they do all this with the support and encouragement of those that came before them, and those yet to come.

I will leave you with a quote from Queen Comet, the Heart of the Great Alliance “The GA may not be the only intersim in SL, but we are the oldest. Our wonderful players return again and again to join into the experience of the high caliber of roleplay we sustain here.”

We hope you will find a home and family with us.
